Is it ok to count crystal light as my water for the day? I also drink water but sometimes that gets boring.

yes you can count crystal light....another option is to try the Mio water flavoring...crystal light has 5 cal per 8 oz and Mio has 0 cals 0 carbs 0 protein and 0 fat and also comes in a variety of flavors to help with water consumption,0

Yes.

Yes count towards your water but be careful as it does have calories. I wasn't tracking it and found that sometimes I was adding upwards of 50 cals a day from it and not realizing it. Each single serve packet is 10 cals and it also has some sodium0

Why not try a squeeze of lemon--makes water much more interesting and there's hardly any calories. The lemon juice will benefit you much more (potassium, vitamin C, D-Limonine--a virus fighter, etc.) Fake flavorings and sweeteners are not your body's friends.0 -
i love crystal light energy packets0

I will often slice up multiple fruits (and some veggies) to keep in the water in the fridge for flavor. My fave combos: lemon/orange. lemon/strawberry. red grapefruit. cucumber/mint. green melon.0

Love to cut up fruits and veggies also to put in my water, especially when the weather is hot outside. Also I have been putting Crystal Light in my water for as long as I can remember.0

I've found crystal light to help ease the transition from sodas to water.
Still love the pink lemonade!!!
I drank close to 3 liters ( 3/4 of a gallon ) of the stuff last night0 -

I love MIO and Chrystal Light! But are they safe? I'm always afraid of adding it to more than 2 or 3 cups of water per day because of the artificial sweeteners.0

I love Mio. "It changes everything".0
-
I love my CL and log it as my water and the calories under snacks, I couldn't live with out my CL Peach Mango Green Tea with "Energy" Now that I've given up coffee and soda!0
-
Yes, it is just water flavoring...I would highly recommend switching to Mio or using lemons or something. Crystal Light has Aspartame in it, not a very good substance. Look it up...0

Mio is safe...crystal light on the other hand is a whole other monster.0 -
yup, crystal light, tea. Personally I hated water but I moved to crystal light and now I don't even like that so I drink water or tea. Try different teas, some are naturally sweet0

hahahahaha this made my lunch break0 -
I use kool aide with stevia. Aspartame is evil and sucralose isn't much better.0
-
I do use Mio more often. Sometimes I'll add lemon juice to my water. Lately I've been using Dasani Pineapple Coconut and after just checking the label, NO ASPARTAME!0
-
Peach Tea is the bomb...Drinking Crystal Light really help reduce the amount of soda I drink.0
-
I love them, but hate the aspartame. I drink fuze sometimes, but it's much more expensive. I'll have to try mio.0

I avoid artificial sweeteners, so I use the Crystal Light Pure sweetened with stevia.
And yes, I count it toward my water. I count water and juices 1-for-1 and count 1/2 my coffee towards my water to help make up for the caffeine.0 -
I don't think you should count something like this as water. If you check the ingredients, it has so much extra junk that really, you should probably drink extra water to try and get rid of it. I love some of the ideas posted in reply about real fruit in water, if you need something to change the taste. If you get rid of processed and fake ingredients you will be surprised how different your body and overall health can become! I know water can get a tad boring. However, if you look at the health benefits of eating real versus fake, to me... fresh, clean water starts to sound pretty good!0

I didn't know they made that, I'll have to try some0 -
I like to mixed Diet Ocean Spray Cranberry juice in water. About 1/3 juice and 2/3 water. I count the 10 calories, when I mix the juice...fill up to water bottles...and drink it over the course of a couple of days. Once I count the calories, I don't have to think about recording them again, until I do the mixing again. Maybe you could count your Crystal Light on the day that you make up a pitcher.0

I usually use about half a packet when I use it (I don't like very sweet drinks) and I do count it as water. Something else I LOVE to do is slice 1 orange, 1 lemon, 1 lime and 1 small cucumber and add it to a half gallon of water with some fresh mint. Top it with ice and you're good to go for several hours! Cucumber sounds weird but it really adds a good flavor. Plus, you don't have all the artificial stuff that's in regular drink flavor packets.0

No thats cheating! I'm so telling on you! I only drink pure water that has been passed the the system of jaguar and then purified with pure ice from Saturn's moon Titan. I'm so much smarter than everyone else here. I win the MFP competition!0
