To answer the two most recent posts--

I didn't add any water to the oats, I just threw them in with the banana, the oats soaked up moisture from that.
And I added raisins to the second batch. :) We liked them much better with them.

Made my batch... My son seems to like them, but they aren't anything to write home about.
I'll save my calories for a proper peanut butter cookie.... mmm

For all the Brits. I made 2 batches of 6 cookies. Each batch had 50g of quick oats, 1 banana, 1 tsp of canderel sweetener. Then in one batch I added 15g of tiny fudge pieces (59cal per cookie). The second batch had 15g of choc chips (62cal per cookie)

    And they were bloomin' SCRUMMY!!

Just wondering, did anyone try making these with regular rolled oats rather than the quick variety?
  • Sounds great. How do I save this receipe? I'm new to this website.

I just made these. I always go through recipe threads looking for pictures and didn't find any, so I'll include mine. They came out pretty ugly though, so apologies in advanced!

I even threw some cinnamon on top, and I still didn't care for them. Pretty flavorless and VERY chewy. I'll still eat what I made though. They're somewhat edible. Maybe I did something wrong since so many other people seem to enjoy them!

Anyway, here are some (really crappy) pictures:
