Cutting Weight.

I am in a weight loss contest with 5 other (5 total) we all put in $500 each so $3,000.00 to the winner we are all very close in the amount of weight we have lost in the 8 weeks we have been dieting (around 40 lbs each). I just found out that most of them are going to cut weight the night/day before the weight in, I want to keep up with them anyone got any good trick? I know to drink 2 gal of water a day and taper down to nothing the 24 hours before the weigh in and to workout in a plastic suit. but does anyone have any other tricks.
