      I'll never understand why people are eager to discuss these issues in Chit-Chat but can't be bothered to press a 'join' button so their threads won't get deleted. No offense. Just puzzles me.

      Whoops, my fault, I thought this was about another thread that got rather religious/political. They pop up all the time in this forum, then get deleted after several hundred posts by people eager to discuss. But most of those people don't join a forum where they freely can discuss religion and politics.
