Do you guys pause it when taking a break, or just let it play and pick up again when you catch your breath?0

I would try Jillian Michaels' Body Revolution instead. Its a longer time commitment (90 days) but starts out at a more basic level (ie - more modifications and not as many combination strength moves). I'm doing it now and I like it way better and find it easier to stick with because there's more assortment in the workouts.0

I bet you could do the whole thing if you did it slowly.
Don't try to keep up to the same speed as them.
Do the moves, but do them slowly, with fewer repetitions.
Before you know it, you'll be doing it like Natalie.
Build up slowly. It will happen.0 -
I think the most important part is to just move. Do your best and keep moving. The only way to get the strength and endurance is to push yourself. You'd be surprised what your body can actually do. I'm 39 and I can keep up...anyone can....lol0

Come on girl, we can do it.
Relieved to see there are people like me. =D We can do it... soon!0 -
Thank you every one for the great replies and advice =D I feel motivated and lifted. And esp , the wall push up advice! I needed that!0

you have to push it, if you want results, it is not easy and it hurts like hell but it is worth it.
I could do everything perfect except push ups after 4-5 days, so good luck! Do not give up0 -
Pace yourself so that you can get through the whole workout - maybe keep in a few short breaks. Then, keep building up the intensity day by day.
The key is not to stop. If you absolutely can't keep going after 5-6 minutes, you are working out way too intensely. I learned this from the Couch-2-5k program - you might want to check it out because a lot of their discussion about how to build up intensity can apply to non-running exercise too.0 -
Idk it might be just me but I loved the challenge, I loved it so much I just kept pushing through day after day until I injured my ankle.
I think people need to do extra stretching before the workout. And I didn't listen when my body told me no more. Really don't over do it. I would also recommend two day rest each week.

And shoes....wear shoes! Most people do not have feet designed to take impact barefoot.0 -
Just do what you can, and keep going back evey day, you will get though it, Try without weights.0

just push yourself through it. go slow if you need to but just get through it and youll feel great. what really gets me are the squats i really cant do them at all !0

You'll be sore for the first few days, but if you keep pushing through, eventually your body will adjust and it will be easier for you. Just do what you can. If you need to take a break every 5 minutes, do it. And as you continue, you'll find yourself needing less and less breaks.0

Move on. Find anther workout. Then come back to this one later after you build better endurance.

She also has workouts for beginners you could try...0 -
Im 228lbs and can do this perfectly fine because i was doing running and tae bo before it . Probably built up my endurance level. Try running or some other form of cardio and then go back to it , you will see how bareable it is then .
I second this. I've been running for months before starting it and I found I could easily last through the 25 or so minutes.0 -

^^This!! Try low impact workouts, pilates, yoga. They are all great workouts that will help you build up strength in your muscles safely. Listen to your body, if it's too much, take a break or modify it. You don't want to injure yourself.0 -
I wish i'd known about the body revoulotion dvd before i started this one!
Like everyones been saying - i was going to give up after the first day (Although im only on day 3) Ive had some brilliant advice from great people here, Do it bit by bit, pause if you need to. Or dont do as many as they do and do it a bit slower.
You'll get there - good luck!0 -
I completed my 2nd day of level 1 yesterday, it was a little easier, hoping today will be better! I hav a heck of a time with push-ups as I do not have much upper body strength but I still try! Hurt like hell today but for some reason, look forward to completing day 3 when I get home! Good Luck!!0

Today will be day 25 of the 30DS for me! I was like at the beginning, but I promise you, you will be sore BUT you will not believe how fast your endurance builds up!! Do the best you can! There is no failing if you are giving it your all!! Just keep at it! If at first you can't do it everyday..maybe try every other day?? Good luck!!0

I just started 30DS on Friday 2/1, and so far I'm excited about the results I've been reading about here & hope. I'm. able to emulate them. Any advice or tips for this neebie?! I appreciate it!0

The idea is to keep at it. Keep moving. I did it a few times and cursed her the entire way. I could never do it two days in a row, because my body hurt so bad. But if it doesn't hurt then its not working.0
