Anxiously posting my first topic since that very first one asking for buddies, early in the journey. I am down 57 pounds and I'm not quite sure how much more I want to lose, but roughly 23 or so. (In the homestretch!) Thought I would post some pictures to show others that you CAN accomplish anything you want. I see so many of you doubt yourselves. You get so discouraged because you can't always see the progress as quickly as you want. We all allow the scale to dictate our success. Truly, you are progressing inwardly even if the scale does not show it on a certain minute of a certain day of a certain week's weigh-in. Keep up the commitment, all! And for those who have already accomplished so much, I have to thank you because even though I don't say a lot, I still read a lot and find inspiration from you all.

My stats:

I am 5'2"
SW: 200 pounds
CW: 143
GW: Approximately 120---though not carved in stone!

(Obviously there is still plenty of work to do, but hopefully will be finished by my 1-year "anniversary" of this journey which will be in May of this year)

    Thanks, my friends/family have all said the same thing. LOL I guess I didn't realize that my lack of smile was so obvious. It might not look like it, but I am very shy...and very, very camera shy---so it's hard for me to pose for a picture, much less smile and pose for one. But now that I know it's so obvious...lol
