If you eat a lot of chicken, want something you can throw together really fast, and get tired of eating the same thing all the time you can try out this accidental discovery. I need to go to the store but found these ingredients laying around. Presto! Lunch.

  • I'm not sure about that. I'll take your word for it though.

It looks like it could be good in a wrap! I may have to try it!

Easy suggestions are always nice, as I am most definitely not even close to being a chef!

Ha. I'm lazier than you. I just added a fork to the recipe. A wrap would be good.

On the sodium. Yes the canned chicken does have some sodium in it. Eat at your discretion I suppose. That's probably the worst thing about the whole meal but the effort it took offsets the risk for me. LOL

    Yum! Instant 'wings'!
  • Hmm... I like the idea of it, but I'm not sure if I'm sold on the idea of canned chicken. It's good, you say? Maybe I'll give it a try...

True I normally buy and grill 10 pounds of chicken at a time. This was more of a "Let's see what's in the pantry?" type of meal. Canned chicken isn't as good as properly prepared chicken but this wasn't that bad at all.

My lazy meal is a can of tuna with mustard... eaten right out of the can.
Never tried mustard with tuna. I like both so I'll have to see how that goes.

I've definitely done that on a number of occasions, and if I was really hungry, added a can of beans...

For a "Let's see what's in the pantry" type of meal, it can't be beat then!
  • Oooh looks good!
