Scale Victory...Small but Significant!

I just had to share this today. I have been on this journey to get healthy and drop some weight for a little over 21 weeks now. I started at 213 lbs and it seemed an insurmountable task to lose enough weight to be considered "healthy", much less to just be "overweight". Seeing that "OBESE" classification glaring at you when you run your BMI calculations is really disheartening, but motivating at the same time. Anyway, I have lost a total of 23.4 lbs to date, and I feel great!! What I really wanted to share is that I reached a small milestone this morning...I weighed in under 190 lbs for the first time in years! My current long-term goal is to reach 155 lbs, but I've been setting mini-goals for myself along the way...like reaching ONEderland (which was so awesome!!). My next mini-goal is to weigh less than my hubby! LOL!! It seems silly to make that a goal but any woman who struggles with weight and has a very fit husband will understand what I'm talking about. I have 5 lbs to go for that and I'm excited. Thanks to all of the people who inspire me every day and thanks to GOD for giving me the strength to be the person HE knows I can be!! Let's all keep on truckin'!!!!
