I've had a digital scale for weighing me and another for food for years, so not sure I'll count those. But since returning to the world of fitness at the start of this year, 1. Heavier hand weights. 2. Good Nike running shoes (the men's version for my double wide feet) and although it didn't cost me anything to purchase 3. myfitnesspal.com. Seriously good for food logging. I've tried 3 or 4 other online programs and none work so well. I've never managed to log more than two weeks straight before without getting bored and givng up on monitoring what i ate by the whole tedious routine of logging.

GOOD walking shoes (shop around spend a little bit more money, your feet will thank you.)

Food scale - embrace your inner metric nerd

Body Weight Scale - I enjoy seeing the made up percentiles it throws at me after I stand on it longer than 5 seconds.

    1. My Polar FT4 Heart rate monitor. It inspires me to work my butt off.

    2. Clothes & shoes! Under armour bras, shirts, pants and a jacket. I can't stand to be soaking wet, then freezing cold! It also stops chafing. I got fitted for Brooks running shoes, custom orthotics from my Podiatrist and I buy awesome synthetic running socks from Walmart. I couldn't do what I do without them.

    3. I use my treadmill a lot & I've had it for years, so I'll say my gym membership that I just started last week!
