Just let me say first this is a little gross so dont read if you dont like..
I've been on here for about 3 weeks now and i've been doing really well! (If i say so myself :P)
Cut down immensely and started jogging and going to start 30 day shred tomorrow evening
I hadnt cheated until last saturday and today and both times i've found i've had explosive diarrhea on both accounts!
The first time i had a monster plate of chocolate pancakes and rum :P so i imagined that spoke for its self but the second time was a Chinese all you can eat and i had a plate and a little. Few hours later i dashed to the loo and lost the lot i think.
Now im wondering if its what i ate or if my body is telling me it likes me not eating this crap?
Any ideas appreicated

It could be the extra fat your body is not used to? Years ago I was on a low fat (almost no fat) diet. It was a stupid diet. When I had some fatty foods I would get sick. it was like my body was not used to them anymore.
This has happened to me but I have Crohn's disease so that might be the cause.
I would guess your body had too much of something that did not agree with it (sugar, fat, etc) and it got rid of it as fast as it could.
I am no expert though.0 -
I have that problem too. Maybe not always explosive, but definitely GI issues. I think it's because our bodies get used to us eating the "correct" things and then we try something higher in fat/calories and it throws us for a loop. I've actually noticed that my "stools" are harder now that I eat better - which is a good thing. I do think that this can be an issue and you're totally not alone!0

Thanks for the replied Ladies!
Love the idea my bodies trying to rid itself of the extra fat i may of eaten that day weird but motivates me that my bodies agreeing with my lifestyle change0 -
Good way to look at it!!0

Happens to me and my husband both all the time! We have a code phrase for it for public use. We call it, "Get the baby." and then promptly scurry off to the bathroom.
We've found that on our cheat meals, we just have to make better choices lol pizza is out. So is Chinese. We usually can do Panera or McAllisters Deli (Don't know if you have either of those around you, but even their 'unhealthy foods' are easy on our stomachs)0 -
I THOUGHT THIS WAS ABOUT CHEATING BOYFRIENDS OR SOMETHING.
Moving on from that.
My cousin cut out greasy foods for a diet once and she CANNOT eat it anymore. It makes her terribly ill. Very, very ill now.
So I think it depends on your body.
As for me, I can cut anything out and reintroduce without any problem.0 -
Nope. I have a cast iron stomach.
I also haven't really cut anything that I enjoy eating, so nothing is going to shock my system.0 -
I definitely see a 'looser' stool when I eat a fatty meat that I haven't had in awhile.0
-
I never noticed until I read this, but when I do fall off, I get upset stomachs and my bowel movements change.0

Yep. I usually pay for it in the bathroom later when Ive had a cheat meal. Quick and explosive are two words I'd use0

I find that when I cut way back and then consume a large meal, the same thing happens to me. And yes, I think it is our body talking to us. If only we would listen! lol0

I've always had a gut of steel. Could even eat slightly off things without any repercussions. Now... very different story. Too much sugar, too much fat. UGH Body hates it.0

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
The other day i ate everything in sight like i would've typically done about a month ago (consumed 3000 calories for the day) i had fast food and high calorie sugary drinks it was wonderful..... until the next morning  :noway:
I was sick all day. I must've used the bathroom like at least 5-6 times and the day after that my stomach was still hurting.0 -
It will be two weeks this Thursday that I started and have stuck to my calories every day thus far except for maybe super bowl sunday and even then, did not really eat that much, but I kept munching despite being full and had two mikes hard lemonade which is also the first alcohol I have had since starting. All was well until Monday morning. Did not actually have diarrhea, but had to go several times and VERY crampy. Was late to work cause I couldn't seem to get out of the bathroom long enough to get ready. Then and there I told myself....never again!!0

Mmmmmmmmm well that certainly is reason to stick to your diet.0

Happens to me too! Before I started eating healthier I was thinking I had IBS because of all my crazy stomach issues. Now that I am eating better all those issues disappeared....unless I eat something fatty and high calorie or sodas. Chocolate has started to mess with my stomach too.0

I cut out greasy fatty foods-cuz well, they aren't good for you in any way-and IF I eat them now-major GI issues.
so I stay away from them altogether now.0 -
I haven't cut out fat completely, but I don't really eat deep fried food now (other than the odd tempura shrimp). I had fish and chips with gravy the other night for dinner, and it was not pleasant  my stomach let me know to never eat those three things together ever again.0
