No worries... you're not doing anything wrong. You are losing, so keep doing what you are doing. Consistency is key, and losing weight in a sustainable manner will help you keep it off.
Averaging .5 - 1.5 lbs per week over the span of a month is a healthy range of weight loss. Some folks lose more at the beginning when they are just starting for a variety of reasons such as water weight loss, etc.
(FWIW, I've lost about 3 - 4 lbs since beginning of the year)

I weighed on 30th december until today I have lost 18lbs0

2 pounds. But I decided last year to throw out the scale and not worry about the number and focus on my health. I have been to the gym 4-5 days a week since January and eaten significantly better.0

I've lost about 6 pounds since the beginning of January. I have been really slacking on staying under my calorie goal so I am not surprised I've only lost 6.0
