HRM

I am thinking of getting a HRM - what should I get and how much should I expect to pay? *Note: I'm poor! If I get a "cheaper version" will it work just the same because I've got pedometers before that haven't worked that I got free out of cereal boxes or for $5 or whatever...

There is a huge range of price and effectiveness. If you want the most basic but accurate look into Polar. They have some cheaper one. Basically though you need something with a chest strap because having the heart rate is what makes the accuracy increase. I myself have a Polar RS200 that I've had for years and I love it. You don't notice the chest strap once its on, and it's much more accurate than the machine or MFP calculations.0
