5k & 10k run

I see people registering for them all the time. I found the zombie run in DEC in the area I will be in, however idk how to find others. any help would be great! My new years goal is to do at least a 5k this year so would like to start finding them.

    In So. Cal. there is a website called race place that lists all the races. Maybe google race place and your area to see what comes up. You can also check the local running store. Ours always has flyers for upcoming races.

    these are just a few.

    zombie runs are fun! i did one last year. it's a mud run plus zombies sorta chasing you (they go after your flags that are attached to a belt you wear - like flag football)

    Check out the Polar Bear event on 2/23/13. They have a 5 mile and a 3 mile and you can do both. You can pre-register until 2/18.
