How to measure Kashi?

I have Kashi every morning for breakfast and the serving size is 1 cup or 53g. I measure out the 53g's on my food scale and it's always way less than a cup of cereal. Do I use that measurement or an actual cup of the cereal - which is a lot more than 53g's!! Which way is correct?

I would try submitting that question to Kashi' on their website....
But.. If the volume of the cereal could be messing things up. I personally, would go by the wight versus the volume measurement (cups) because it is more precise...0 -
I always pour into 1 cup measuring cup then dump into bowl.0

Oh no! I'd like to know the answer to this. I just finished eating my bowl of kashi. I measure out a cup as I have yet to get a food scale.0

I agree.... weight will be more accurate than volume - and ask Kashi! Their volume measurement may not be exact, but should be close.0
