Need help determining my actual weight

I have been a member here for a few months now, and don't usually go to the forums. I faithfully weigh myself everyday and have been having such great success in my weight loss.
Today I have a problem. I woke up this morning and found I had a stuffy nose. My nose has been running but I still have a lot of sinus congestion. When I weighed myself his morning, I was up in weight. I make real sure I eat enough calories to never enter starvation mode. I cleanse through supplements or enemas daily (stimulant in the morning, enema before bed). I'm sure the weight gain is totally due to the snot factor.
My question is this: Is there a way I can calculate what my dry weight is so I can continue to track my progress until this illness is over?

Oh, this is a rough situation for you. I'm so sorry to hear that you're having this slip in your journey.
Other than the basic "you really should have carried a can of Lysol" advice, it has been my experience that snot is denser than muscle, and weighs easily 3 or more pounds. I know it sounds like a lot, but you know how heavily it weighs in your sinuses, right? Well, the density of the stuff is why.
What I would suggest is that you take 3 pounds from what the scale says. You should also think of adding NiQuil to your evening enemas. It's a little sticky going in, but you'll see results.
Wishing you the best.0 -
Snarky!! ugh
My advice is stop weighing yourself until your cold passes.. THE END.0 -

But isn't nyquil a depressant? Won't that counteract the stimulating affect I am looking for with the enemas? I mean, I don't want my bowels filling with bile causing a further weight gain. Plus if it is sticky, wont that make the food stick to my intestinal wall?0 -
Just quit now. You failed. You gained the weight back and won't lose it ever again. The snot story is just your way of justifying your failure.0

Full body lyophilization but it's kind of permanent.0

One would think that, but the sugar in the NyQuil causes hyper-bowel stimulation. I could go into details, but it's like adding a super-suppository. The food won't even know what hit it. It mixes best with black coffee as opposed to green. Green is just too stimulating with Nyquil and you will dehydrate even further. On second thought, that will get you really dry and you'll lose tons.

Take a full package of mucinex!!!!! This will help dry up all that snot plus...extra water/fluids. You'll get a truer dry weight.0

Am I the only one confused here?0

But lastnight, I read on the internet that green coffee was better for enemas. It was on one of the forums. I don't remember who said it, but they sounded impressive. I just went out and bought a whole bunch of green coffee to help me lose weight faster. I'm so confused. It was posted and had a link to an internet site. The internet site looked legit, and it hadn't been removed by the interwebs police so it must have been true. Do you have something that can validate what you are saying? I hate to invest a lot of money in something that isn't legit. Money is really tight right now. I may be able to do better once I get that cash back from the nigerian prince I helped get back to his country from being deposed.0 -

No. I'm getting more and more confused everyday. There are all these wonderful helpful people on the forums (except that one who told me I am a failure), but they all give me conflicting advice. What can I do.0 -
I would ONLY sniff it through a straw. Best way to go. Clear that out!!!!!! Go, Now!!!! I want your after weight. I'm waiting anxiously.Take a full package of mucinex!!!!! This will help dry up all that snot plus...extra water/fluids. You'll get a truer dry weight.0

But I heard on NPR and in a company newsletter that people who weigh themselves daily have more success at weight loss than people who don't. I just want to be successful.0 -
Full body lyophilization but it's kind of permanent.
From what I read on the internet, this could be an option. It sad it was safe to use on perishables. SInce I am a mere mortal, I am able to perish. Therefore this may be an option Where can I find a place to do this for me? Is it expensive?0 -
Just break up0

I dear lady and am not a quitter. I can't believe how unsupportive you are. I am trying to make a journey here, and you just are so unsupportive. I thought that this website was all about supporting each other on our journey. You're just a mean bully.0 -

Well I have to run to the grocery store to get some. I will let you know when I am done how it worked.0 -

Looks that way. You'll soon catch on.0 -
Just break up
I hope the mucinex and nyquil enemas will break this sinus congestion up. I need to get back on my journey.0 -
I don't know how you do that. I only weigh myself once of twice a week. I guess since I am a bigger dude, my weight can fluctatate so much between a day between the water i drink and the work out I do (easily 5 lbs up and downs in a day lol)
I say don't weigh yourself and stress yourself anymore. Worry about you health. You will probably lose weight after. Just keep tracking your food and stay in bed or take your meds!

Thanks Obama!0

Am I the only one confused here?
Nope, I'm with you!0 -
You're obviously not weighing yourself often enough. I read on the internet that people who weight at least 3 times a day loose more weight than people who watch Dr Oz daily. Maybe you could try the enema every 12 hours, too.0
-
Thanks Obama!
What did he do with this? Have I been targeted as a terrorist, and this is one of those citizen executions I have been hearing about on the news? OMG. Are they using germ warfare against US citizens now?0 -
It sounds like you went into starvation mode. Try to get some more calorie dense enemas into you.0

I have never seen Dr. Oz. I work in the day. If I DVR it, and weigh myself more, do you think I can hit goal weight quicker yet?0 -
OP, I suggest you take your diet and throw it on the ground. You don't need to be a part of this system since you're an adult.0

Don't forget to log the run. Just please don't do the enema at the grocery store if you plan on running back. I tried that once. It didn't go so well for me. :sick:0 -

Hey! I carefully track my calories. There's no way I went into starvation mode. I have been there before, and I am neve going back.0
