I'm 5'4".
At my heaviest I was nearly 160 and wore a size 8 or 10 pants. Now I'm about 133 and wear a 4 or a 6 depending on the brand.
It's frustrating that different stores size their clothes differently, so it's especially important not to put too much weight or importance on size--when clothes make you look your very best, who cares what size they are?!?!0 -
5'5" 243 lbs size 18....I'll be thrilled when I can get back into a size 12!0

These threads are pointless and remind me of junior high.
Sizes vary too much to "compare". I wear a size 20 - 28, depending on the brand and store. For someone to say they weigh 309 and wear a size 20 means nothing to me since they're probably a 28 at another store. It's silly. Why do this to each other? Why compare?0 -

Because it helps to know what size you will be in once you reach a certain weight, it also helps you see that the scale does not matter much at all ..... your size in clothing does matter. It also helps determine LBM and bodyfat % and how that is much more important than weight If you weight less than others yet wear bigger clothing than you should look at your bodyfat %, you need to be building up lean mass rather than worrying about the scale
There may be a difference in sizes from one store to the next but rarely is it more than a size or two0 -

Just to let anyone else who's 5'3 know, if you go by the comics, then we're the same height as Wolverine.
My defence when I get called short.
Also, I'm a UK size 12 at the minute, 165 lbs.0 -
I am 5' 5". Current weight is 155. My jean size fluctuates. Levis I wear size 12. In Matrices brand (my fav because they fit my curves better) I wear a 9-10.
Actually, I bought my current jeans when I was 10 lbs lighter. They are snug, and some days I have to use a hair band to hold the botton snap together.0 -

5'5" I'm only down 9lb from my starting weight of 267 and so still wear same size pants = 18 mostly but sometimes 20 depending on brand.
This is an interesting thread to me though, I've seen a lot of people post their weights and pants size and they could weigh less than me but wear bigger pants. I know that everyone is made differently, but still interesting.0 -
5'4"
149 lbs
Pant Size: 6-80 -
It's fairly unimportant, just because sizes are so inconsistent. I'm currently 119 pounds and in a junior's size 7. When I was in junior high (and didn't even have hips), I couldn't squeeze my *kitten* into a size 9 to save my life.
I'm in a size 2 and 4 depending on the style at Eddie Bauer.... And a size 6 Levi's. Oh pants. Why can't we be consistent?!0
