So for most this would likely seem like a very small thing, But today was the first time I got up and went for a walk after I said I would. Im living with family at the moment and though they mean well they make healthy eating and exercise very difficult and I was determined to get up and go out before anyone was even awake. So far I can only walk 20-30 mins with out dying but its a start and Im proud of myself for sticking to it so far ^^.

Great job!!! I have trouble with the walking also, although two of my girls and I have been going for bike rides. Yesterday we did 35 minutes. Due to hip and back problems I have to ride a recumbant trike, which means I have trouble keeping up with my girls! lol0

What you did was a grand victory. To take the step to do what you wanted & you neeed to do is a Victory.
Any ways to get your living environment emotionally supportive to what you are doing for your life? Hang tough, do what you gotta do and don’t let others hold you back.

That is awesome. at least you are starting somewhere. I remember calling my sister telling her my heart hurts it feels like it is fixing to explode. she said did you just get back from walking. i said yes and she said you will be fine you are just not used to it. I was only walking about 20 min and was only about 1/4 of a mile.0

The first walk I took, I made it seven minutes round trip. But it was a start. The fact that you got up and did 20-30 minutes is a wonderful start!! Congratulations! You should be proud of your self. Good luck to you on your journey!!!!0

the walking really works. I've done so much exercising in my life.. and i lost the best when i simply walked two and a half miles a day. .....and it was fun because i could think..enjoy nature..or listen to music. Good luck in your weight loss journey.0
