No one here is an expert. Everyone's body is completely different. While flying may not work for some it could still work for you.

Thank you, I am just frustrated because I've been trying for 15 minutes and have been unsuccessful so far

Just keep at it. Ignore the haters. They think they're all so smart.

At the risk of getting a strike, I regret to inform you that you indeed cannot fly by flapping your arms without some other mechanical assistance.

The closest you could get would be flapping your arms in water. The greater density of water relative to air will enable you to propel yourself in the fluid despite the small surface of your arms. And yes, I know that one pound of water and one pound of air both weigh the same amount, thank you.

Keep trying! My friend who went to grammar school with someone who became a personal trainer said that anyone can learn to fly with enough practice and by limiting carbs.

You will never get light enough to fly if you insist on eating back all your exercise calories.

The only way to accomplish your goal is to curl in the squat rack...a lot. You must have ginormous biceps to even attempt to fly by flapping your arm. Ginormous biceps aren't grown anywhere outside of the squat rack...there's just that perfect lighting and fertilizer for the bicep in the rack.

Right because if you eat carbs, you'll retain water and water is heavier than air, therefore limiting your ability to fly.

There... fixed that for you. Now, on to address what everyone else is missing...

He's asking for instructions on how to flap arms and fly. Simple... Stretch out arms as cmcollins001 has been kind enough to demonstrate, then move them quickly up and down and JUMP!!

Rather you will actually fly or not will depend on what you have consumed.

You must really really want it!! You can do anything you put your mind to, you are special!!
If you start with this "it's physically impossible" mindset you are setting yourself up for failure.

Nope just fall and miss the ground. the best way to do is to get distracted while falling. It worked well for Arthur Dent.

Beat me to it. The trick is to be distracted just before hitting the ground.

You appear to have a lot of muscle, and we all know that weighs like 10x more than fat, so you probably won't be able to lift off and fly....just sayin'

Good luck though (and don't forget to track those calories burned while flapping your arms!):drinker:
