I get that CrossFit is a super intense workout, and I keep hearing tons about it, but is it effective for someone who is looking to lose pounds?

On youtube there are some videos of an average, over weight, middle-aged man who starts doing crossfit. For those interested it is called "Killing the Fat Man". It is about ten 15 minute videos of him as he progresses. He loses quite a bit of weight in the process.

Hey, I was going to recommend this series. Pretty amazing the transformation that took place with this guy. Also just fun to watch.
Of course you have to still have a diet/calorie intake that will allow you to lose weight. What I find hard with Crossfit and weight loss, is to determine how many calories I've burned. But the workout is intense, rewarding and the time goes fast while doing it.0 -
Yes! Its the only thing Ive found that I have total interes in and that allows me to work at my ability and still shows results! I suggest trying it out and enjoy.0
