23 lbs lost on MFP. (Joined May 2012)
29.4 lbs total lost since Jan 2012.

The weight loss has been slow, But I rather be losing while having a realistic diet and exercise regimen. So when there is little time for exercise It is not to hard to sneak it in or adapt to life's craziness.

Eating:
Eating out less. When I do I make sure to save half for later.
Drinking V8 because I don't like eating vegetables. Eating more portions of turkey and chicken and less portions of ham and beef.
Eating less or no fried foods. If I buy chips or things I know are high taste and high in calories/fat, I make sure to not eat it all in one sitting.
I don't drink alcohol.
I only drink soda if I am at a party. I drink water from the water fountain at work as much as I can or fill up a 32 ounce old powerade bottle.

Exercise:
Main exercise is using the elliptical machine on max resistance for an hour. This burns over 1000 Calories and I do this at least 3 times a week.
I park farther away in the parking lot at work to get in walking.
I try to do dips and sit ups at my work desk a few times a week.
On days I workout burning 1000 calories I eat about 1500-1800 calories.

My weight lost has gone in the negative direction a few times but I get back on track by getting back on exercising and eating less junk food.

Hope to hit my goal weight in May!

That's fantastic - well done. You can really really see a huge change in your face. You know what they say - "slowly but surely wins the race" (well they do in the UK anyway!) Good luck with reaching your goal.

Thank you, scubajo. It has been tough but I have had more "on" days then "off." I don't know Hope Solo but you'll meet your goal I bet with more "on" days then "off."

On a serious note, looks good man...I have to say one of the first things I noticed was my neck and face when I started to lose.

I love this! First of all congrats on your loss! You look amazing! The only thing that concerned me was this....

    When you said

"On days I workout burning 1000 calories I eat about 1500-1800 calories. "

Do you mean ABOVE the 1000 you burned?

You're saying you're only getting 500-800 Calories then and your BMR would be about 1784 (I didn't know your age, just weight and height) So in this case you're actually well below what you should be which in turn could cause weight gain. Were you aware of this already? Or did a physician maybe suggest it? Maybe it's just me (or science) but do you not feel hungry?
