Anybody ever heard of a more unhealthy ingredient?

    Is that even possible?? Partially hydrogenated oils are unsaturated oils, which, through hydrogenation, become saturated. Seeing that lard is 100% saturated at its natural state, I don't see how it can undergo hydrogenation.

    Yes, lard. The lard you buy in a grocery store is partially hydrogenated to extend the shelf life. I render my own lard from leaf lard. I buy pork from a sustainable farmer and render the lard myself.

    Otherwise, use butter, olive oil, or coconut oil

    I render bacon fat to cook chicken, but that's as far as it goes.

    I can filter out chlorine and fluorine.... But the bromine is structured into the molecule itself.
