Is that even possible?? Partially hydrogenated oils are unsaturated oils, which, through hydrogenation, become saturated. Seeing that lard is 100% saturated at its natural state, I don't see how it can undergo hydrogenation.0

Yes, lard. The lard you buy in a grocery store is partially hydrogenated to extend the shelf life. I render my own lard from leaf lard. I buy pork from a sustainable farmer and render the lard myself.
