I reached the 100 pound loss milestone

Actually its 101 But there is still a long way to go. This is a journey. Here is the diff so far.

I Started Sept. 20, 2012 at 364 pounds and weighed myself only once per week.

Sept. 27 2012: 253

Oct. 4 2012: 251

Oct. 11 2012: 246

Oct. 18 2012: 241

Oct. 25 2012: 337

Nov. 1 2012: 333

Nov. 8 2012: 325

Nov. 15 2012: 323

Nov 22 2012: 321

Nov. 29 2012: 313

Dec. 6 2012: 310

Dec. 13 2012: 305

Dec. 20 2012: 299

Dec. 27 2012: 293

Jan. 3 2013: 288

Jan. 10 2013: 282

Jan. 16 2013: 279

Jan. 24 2013: 274

Jan. 31 2013: 272

Feb. 7 2013: 267

Feb. 13 3013: 263 (101 pounds lost so far)

The goal is to get down to 200 pounds so I have a ways to go and will continue with the deficit caloric intake. I started at 4X shirts and 50 inch pants size. Currently Im at wearing 2X shirts and size 40 pants. I will now start to replace the 5 days of cardio with 3 days a week of the stronglifts 5x5 program.

I have an office job and push a mouse around all day so I get no exercise unless I work out. I started this journey at 2500 cals a day.

First two weeks 2,500 cals a day

2nd 2 weeks, 2,000 cals a day

Remaining weeks and currently at about 1,500 cals a day to drop the remaining 60+ pounds. When I reach the point where I work to maintain, I expect to increase the caloric intake back to perhaps 2,000 calories a day. I have not yet begun a weight lifting/training program as I equip my home gym and then will monitor and adjust the calorie needs as I go.

So, it wasn't just a horrible Halloween candy incident. Whew!

Thanks for posting all of the numbers - I find it really interesting to visualize _how_ the weight came off people - hopefully I can be as consistent as you have been.

That's incredible, and it's only been a short time!
Besides working your butt off (obviously) what tips can you offer?
  • Congratulations! I can't get to achieve my first 25 ;)

Eat less and move more and track everything you eat on MFP. Make eating right and working out a second job.
