newbie - lost 3.8 in 9 days!

hi! i started tracking my calories last tuesday and have lost 3.8 pounds! i don't exactly know HOW it works, i am eating pretty much the same stuff as before, just more frequent snacks during the day and smaller portions. i don't like many fruits and veggies, and i hate exercise, so i am thrilled that i have had some success. i know the rapid loss is not going to continue like this but at least it is motivating me to continue. i started at 152 and i'm 5'3". setting 5 pound goals at a time but my ultimate realistic goal weight is 135. so happy to have found my fitness pal!
