The other day I did my workout to Hot Blooded by Foreigner on repeat. It was the greatest playlist, and likely the greatest moment, of my life.0
-
I love working out to rock music from the 70s and 80s. Some 90s but very little. I also have some Green Day and am considering some metallica and bare naked ladies (basically need to raid my boyfriend's music again).0

One Way Or Another - Blondie
54-46 Was My Number - Toots and the Maytals
Baba O'Reilly - The Who
Plug In Baby - Muse
Mr Blue Sky - ELO
and a bunch of other stuff I'm too tired to remember.
Must have worked - I flew through the rowing where two sessions ago, I wasn't able to undo to foot straps without help. And I did a full weights workout. AND 15 minutes on the recumbent bike. AND I still managed to do 45 minutes of swimming afterwards.
I may keel over later, but the music certainly got more out of me in the meantime.0 -
When I do water aerobics I have one MP3 player chock-full of B52s old hits from the first two albums.
Check them out on Youtube.
I also love water-dancing to the macarana, and to can can by Bad Manners0 -
TECH N9NE!
I also listen to a lot of deathcore like Aversions Crown, Aegaeon, Whitechapel, Thy Art is Murder, and a lot of other stuff.0 -
My workout playlist is hours long, but some of my favourites are:
Aerosmith - dream on
Basement Jaxx - where's your head at
Bif Naked - I love myself today
Black Keys - lonely boy
Chemical Bros - galvanize
David Guetta and Sia - titanium
Eminem - Lose yourself, till I collapse
Jimmy eat world - salt sweat sugar, the middle
Kazzer - pedal to the metal
Linkin Park - burn it down
Queens of the stone age - No one knows
Saliva - click click boom
30 seconds to mars - closer to the edge0 -
I've started using pandora, but I find I skip a lot of the songs unless I'm on the Jam Band station… my go-to workout list on my ipod is as follows:
(on shuffle)
Beck: E-Pro
Mika: Grace Kelly
Madonna: Vogue, Express yourself
Buck Cherry: Crazy B*tch
Metallica: Wherever I May Roam
Nine Inch Nails: Only
Lady Gaga: Just Dance
Foster the People: Pumped Up Kicks
Talking Heads: Psycho Killer
Red Hot Chili Peppers: Love Rollercoaster
Jamiroquai: Black Capricorn Day
Trey Anastasio: Cayman Review
Depeche Mode: Personal Jesus
Led Zeppelin: Misty Mountain Hop
Dropkick Murphys: I'm Shippin' Up To Boston0 -
Skrillex- Breakin a Sweat
Jessie J- Domino
The Darkness-I believe in a thing called love
Ying Yang Twins- Shake it like a salt shaker
Adema- The way you like it
I realize this might be a seriously random playlist but it's what gets me going!0 -
Old School Hip Hop and Rap. Reminds me of being a teen again...........0
-
Muse - "Supremacy"
Lots of Foo Fighters, especially "Walk" and "Rope" off their latest album
Metric is an excellent band, the singer is gorgeous and I picture her amazing legs when I am working out. From them I like "Help I'm Alive" "Breathing Underwater" "Sick Muse" and "Stadium Love".
Dead Sara is also really good. She has a very sultry voice and can really rock it out. I love "Weatherman", "Lemon Scent" and "Monumental Holiday".
Matt & Kim are really upbeat. "Daylight", "Cameras", and "Let's Go".0 -
Katie Perry
Pink
Lady Gaga
Kelly Clarkson0 -
I like dance/techno/pop/hip-hop when I work out! I even magically build a tolerance for songs I can't effing stand in real life. But at the gym, you gotta do what you gotta do. Some of my current and ongoing favorites are...
Ti Sento -- Scooter
Lessons In Love -- Kaskade feat. Neon Trees
Die Young -- Kesha
Starships -- Nicki Minaj
Lights -- Ellie Goulding
You've Got the Love -- Florence and the Machines
Cosmic Love -- Florence and the Machines
Raise Your Glass -- Pink
David Guetta.
Also second the Jpop suggestion--to an extent. Some of the newer stuff freaks me out, but I could listen to any one of Hamasaki Ayumi's remix CDs all the way through for an hour long run or whatever.
Also second whoever said Marina and the Diamonds.
And Lady Gaga.
& etc etc etc0 -
My favourite running song is "good vibrations" by Marky mark and the funk bunch. I don't even know why. But it's awesome
My current favourite song to workout to is "fall into the sky" Zedd ft Ellie Goulding
I also love working out to
Alexisonfire
Skrillex
Nero
Morgan page
David guetta
Steve aoki
Eminem
LMFAO (older stuff)
Chromeo
Calvin Harris0 -
Whatever the video I am watching is decent... Even power90s music was catchy....
While running I am counting footsteps and music is distracting... Solving programming problems in my head is awesome music as well...0 -
Favorite new song:
Rival Sons "Keep on Swinging"0
