I wonder if it's teaching that makes us put weight on?

Well hey, we do spend more time completing paperwork than we do actually teaching so we might get away with the stressed and overworked eating excuse!

Howdy from Arkansas. I've taught 2nd for the last 6 years, but have also taught 5th and preschool. Would love to meet other teachers on this quest to get fit. Feel free to add me. :)

Okay, this is how you can tell I teach language arts, specifically grammar.

The title of this thread SHOULD read: "Any more teachers out there?" Any modifies more which is an adjective, whereas "anymore" is in reference to a specific span of time.

For example: "I don't want to do this anymore." Do what? This. When? anymore.

Compare that with: "I don't want any more cake."

I am my own worst enemy some times, ain't I?

I am a gifted/talented art teacher for a rural district. I travel to all of the schools daily to draw and paint, so most days it is a lot of fun:) Would love to connect with other teachers too.
