How many cals are you on a day?
I tried 1500 and I lost for a while but then it kind of stopped, so I am going to try and up my calories to 1750 and see what happens.
Anyone else in the same boat want to add me? Curious to see other peoples diaries too. I hate salad so it hinders me a great deal
Thanks
Caroline

I'm 5'7" and my BMR (average of 3 major formulas) is 1650ish . I am eating 1700 now at 183, at 210 I was eating around 1600.0

I'm 5ft 6 and started at 217. I originally started at 1800 cals net, ate back exercise calories. I lost slightly under 2 pounds a week average over the first few months.
I'm now set to 1540 per day and still losing. Took a bit of a break in January for various reasons but maintained at about 2000 a day.0 -
thank you!!!
Feel free to add me anyone0 -

Do you use the MFP settings? because for my goal of 1 pound per week, and weighing 212 at 5.6, i am given 1600 ish calories a day (forget the actual number). not sure how everyone is getting 1700 or 1800 unless they are loosing 1/2 a pound a week!???0

I too get 1800 cals...but started heavier.
I am now 221 and get 1720...your BMR will change depending on what you tick for "activity"...whether active or sedentary, etc.
I am also 5'6". I would stay at your highest cals if you can...the only reason I went lower is b/c I had a 3 day binge of "not so good foods".0 -
With my BMR being 1719, eating 1750 should be ok, right? I made the mistake of undereating for a long time, but I wanna make sure I get it right now!0
