Calories too high?

Options
I've used a few different calculators and all have suggested that I eat around 1900-1930 calories in order to lose weight. That seems FAR too high and I honestly can't eat that much. Is it okay to eat around 1300-1500 instead or is there something wrong with doing that??

If you've used the calculators correctly (i.e. not over-estimating your activity level or height, as most people tend to) and if there is nothing extraordinary about you (e.g. you are missing both arms or your thyroid gland) and you are overweight, then you HAVE been eating that much and more.

It is okay to eat up to 1000 calories/day less than you are burning (i.e. your TDEE - up to 1000). Weight-loss calorie calculators take this into account already. See a doctor or nutritionist if you think you need to go lower than that.

Nope nothing wrong with that. Try it, see what happens. If not good results, then re-evaluate and follow what MFP says.
