This winter hasn't even been that bad where I live. No much snow. Not a lot of extreme - for us - low temps.... but no really nice days like we usually get in late January - February...... where the sun shines, and it is 50 - 60 degrees for a day or two, or even 3 days if really lucky. But we have spent far more days that are 10 degrees below normal than we have had even at normal temps.

I'm so ready for winter to be over..... and also SO READY to move to the Carolinas in about 7 or 8 years when my wife will retire.

Who's with me? Are you "So ready for winter to be over?"

I would be... but that's wishful thinking given I am in Switzerland.

I'm with you, though I don't understand the numbers.

It's got to -8 or 10 here at worst, but has been +6 or 9 these last few sunny days.

The daffodils are popping out so hopefully spring is about to be sprung. bring it on...

Yes!!! All of my favorite things to do can only be done when the weather is warm. I also hate feeling cold and bundling up in bulky jackets.

NOPE! I love winter and I love the snow. Still wishing for a big snowstorm that still hasn't come yet!

Prolly because in the States they use Fahrenheits and we are using Celsius.

I live in Buffalo, NY where we have dodged all the storms and 'Noreasters. Still waiting for that final blizzard snow storm to dump right over my house. So I can call in and go sledding in the backyard with my daughter.

Until then, I am READY for winter to be over. Just to crack open the windows to let in fresh air, and take the burden off my furnace for once...

Count me in. The older I get the less I enjoy Winter. I'm finally starting to understand why all the white hairs head south.

I'm with you! I am ready to be able to go outside and be active. Walking/hiking are two of my favorite activities. Plus I have an awesome stroller built just so I can run with it :) my family knows how much of a fitness buff I am.

Yet another grey, miserable day with temps about 10 degrees below normal.... I guess that is the worst part, the fact that we have rarely had any sun since mid December.

So, I look outside today with the sun shining brightly, only to open my door and find it is 20 degrees below normal, with 35 MPH wind gusts...... I just can't win.... and I looked ahead on the weather channel for the 10 day forecast, and not a single day is supposed to reach our normal temps....

I don't think it is too much to ask for 1 or 2 sunny days with temps in the 50's do you? ;)
