WORKING OFF THE MUFFIN TOP!!

Good morning!!! MFP crew!! (lol channeling SpongeBob) I need help...what exercise can I do to work the top half of my stomache..the lower half is going down (although I just think it moved to the top half-muffin top) i've been doing crunches and reverse crunches and i'm not seeing any results (going on 3mths now)...so advice please!!! and I will be starting the C25k on March 1st!! oh yeah!! GIT SUM!!! #thanksinadvance :happy:

I hate to break this to you but you can't spot reduce via specific exercises. Muffin top is a function of body fat so the best method to get rid of muffin top is to eat less and exercise more thus decreasing body fat.0

I am doing that...and it has gone down some...but I thought that there was a exercise that I can do to target that section to get it down a lot more....but i will keep what i'm doing and be patient that it will disappear with a little more time and effort...

Most fat on your body is an energy store that the body takes from when required. The only thing is, your body decides where to take it from of its own accord and you can't select areas by any type of exercise targetting. The only thing that can be done is to lose fat until your body decides itself to use the fat that you want to remove. It could be next on the list to use as energy, or it could be last on the list. But wherever it is, you can't consciously put it to the top of the list.0
