Half-Marathon - Need to lose

Just registered to run a Half-Marathon on April 6th, need to lose 18 pounds in 6 weeks!

    Have you done a half marathon before? What's your weekly mileage looking like, and what's your longest run? Do you have a goal pace/time?

    I'm not saying eat whatever you want, but 18lbs in 6 weeks is a lot (higher than the max recommended of 2lbs/wk), and you need to fuel your body properly.

    Over the years I have run 7 marathons, 2-3 half-marathons, numerous triathlons, and a Half-Ironman in 2008. Current max run is 8M and will build to 12M in the next 4 weeks. I have been able to pull the weight off in the past, just harder to do so as I get older.
