Hi,
I'm also 5'3". I was in a size 12 when I was around 170.0 -
How long did it take you to lose 60 pounds? I am currently 185 pounds at 5'7 between a size 10 and 12 depending on cut. My goal is to lose 40 pounds. I am trying to come up with a realistic timeline to get down to size 7.0

I am only 5' tall, I weigh 146 pds and wear a size 10 (I have a 27 inch waist though--my meaurements are 35 bust, 27 waist, 35 hips) But depending on the jeans, I can go between a 10-12. Hope this helps :drinker: Good luck!!!0

Well I'm a size 13 with 185 pounds.0
-
oh there is no telling. plus women's stores size jeans differently. a 12 in one store can be an 8 elsewhere. plus pounds don't correlate to inches.0
-
Well I'm a size 13 with 185 pounds.
see? i'm 185 at a freakin' 160 -
im 5'3 carry most of my weight in my stomach have a flat *kitten* and i weigh right now 155ish and are at a size 10. when i was size 12 i was in the 160's0
-
I agree im 5'6 and at 160-175 i was in a junior size 12. I had no stomach at all but a video booty.thats my ideal weight and striving to get back to.0

When I worked in a clothing store, we realized that junior's sizes were about +1 to misses. So, a size 12 misses jeans is a size 13 juniors jeans. Like everyone else said, the cut is completely different. I birthed two kids and wouldn't think of going near junior's jeans! BTW, I'm 5'3, 160 and size 12 jeans that are a little loose.0

I'm 5'2 and I weigh 158. I wear a size 10 jean. When I weighed 130 I was in a size 6. Hope this give you encouragement.0
-
I'm 5'5.5 and I wore a size 12 from when I was 200 lbs to my current 166 lbs. :ohwell:
The just went from tight to loose.
I'm hoping that I finally get into a solid size 10 if I drop 10 more lbs....0 -
Im 5'3 and weigh 179lbs. I wear a 12 and have been for awhile. I also wore an 11/12 when I weighed 160lbs many years ago. I dont think I can wear anything smaller. If I ever get to a 9/10 I thinK I may pass out. HA!0

I'm 5'3, hourglass shape and I wear a 12 at about 165. Like others said, depends on how you distribute your weight and if you are working out. I've been the same weight before and different sizes depending on how toned I am or if the weight came off upper or lower body. And I can't really wear the odd sizes or juniors because they are cut differently in terms of hips and bustline.0

It depends on a lot of things. How much muscle vs. fat you have. What body type you are. What cut the jeans are. Whether they are stretch jeans. How tight you like to wear your jeans.0
-
Very difficult to compare different bodies like that. When I was 150 I was in size 12 jeans. I am 5'4.0
-
Depends on you, doll. I'm 5'4, and at 127lb I was in a size 0. I'm now 181 and in a 12/14. My bones are large and weigh lots. lol I also have an athletic frame. Always have, always will.0

well im 5'3 and i weigh right now about 180
I fit in the jouniors/misses size 12 comfterbly right now0 -
I'm 5'3" too, when I was 150-ish I was a size 8 (tight) in most brands of jeans. Since we are the same height, if I were to guess I would say 170ish for a size 12? Total guess based on my body type...may depend on where the weight comes off you first....I have some junk in the trunk which never goes away
This is the same as myself. 5'3" and was tight 8 at 150. Comfortable 10 at 160. At 170, size 12. Mine really does change about every 10 lbs I suppose. This is from what I remember being that it has been a little over 3 years since I weighed 150.0 -
I'm almost 5'3 and wore a 12 at around 155-160lbs.0

I'm 5'4" , 183# and am in a 10! (most brands) dress pants a 12-14 though....old navy is great for buying smaller sizes....a 17 though is teen sizing (appropriate for your age of course) if you stick w/teen sizes a 12 would be an 11.....I would guess 20# down or so....but don't be discouraged by the # on the tag...it doesn't define you! Good luck!0

I am 5'8 and I wear a 16 and I am also about 60 pounds heavier than you. Weight doesn't matter. If you want to be smaller just diet and exercise until you feel comfortable with yourself and don't worry about the scale.0

It's amazing how much sizes and shapes can vary. I was just recently a size 12, at 5'4" and 165 pounds. I'm now 157 and just bought 3 pairs of new jeans: 2 size 8s and 1 size 12. They all fit great, but are obviously all different.0

Im currently 206 lbs and in a size 14. (Height: 5'6)
Before that, I was in a size 12 when I weighed 195-200lbs...
(At my smallest, I have been able to squeeze into a size 10 at 180lbs)
So I guess the point of all this is that it varies greatly from person to person!
Keep at it, and you will definitely get there!0 -
Right now, I am 5'4" , 165 lbs and wear a size12 jean. Even when I was at my smallest (135) I still wore a 10. I have hips and a booty no matter what size I am0
