And doesn't 1 pound of lean muscle =~ 600 calories?
I seem to remember reading that if we drastically reduce calorie intake, for example below 1200 per day, we start burning muscle. So you might see a quick drop in body weight from doing so, but it is a loss of muscle rather than fat.0 -
