Hiking carrying 50 pounds

Also, I forgot to ask : How many calories would I burn per half hour or hour carrying 50 pounds in my backpack? Please help!

Anywhere from 1 to 1500 per hour depending on your weight, incline, speed0

Search exercises for "hiking" and you will see three results: cross-country, with load <10 pounds, and with load 10-20 pounds. Nothing close to the 50 pounds you mention.
Even so, using the 10-20 pound load exercise, it estimated 350 calories for a half hour. Bigger weights, a faster pace, and varied terrain will all increase those numbers.0
