Started at 5'2 170/size 12, am now 127/size 4. Did it eating healthy, wholesome meals, exercising (LIFTING HEAVY), and letting myself have a day or week "off" when necessary - I didn't ever eat unhealthily, just gave myself breaks from logging to keep myself sane.
I started committing to losing weight because I tried to give blood and my resting pulse rate was ABOVE 100 BPM! And to top it off, while my blood pressure wasn't HIGH per se, it was in the higher range of "normal", which is apparently still not a good thing for a woman of 20. I am proud to say that my resting pulse is now 60 (athlete range!) and my blood pressure is just below mid-normal.
I don''t have any good before photos because I avoided cameras like the plague when I was fat, so these are the best I could do:

Splotched my face out of this one because it looked weird

Can I ask how long did it take you?

Thanks guys! It took me about 2 years. First year I lost 25, and this year I've lost 18.
I go to the gym 6 days a week: lifting + cardio 3 days a week and just cardio only the other three. For cardio, I usually walk 10 minutes to warm up, run 10-15 minutes, and then hop on the elliptical for 20 minutes.0 -

Great job. On a side note, your waist is only a half inch bigger than one of my thighs. I've been cursed with the football player's legs.0
