Sports Bras/ Big boobs!

I am determined to find a good sports bra & it ain't easy!
I am a 34DD. So, not too big around. I bought the TaTa Tamer from Lulu Lemon & was so disappointed. They told me it would be good for running, but to run I have to throw one of my cheap-o Target brand sports bras over it.
Now the tata tamer is good for going to yoga & strength training, but running, eliptical, & even some HIT training there's just WAY too much bounce.
Anyone have any suggestions? And is it too much for it to be cute? I'm mad jelly of the A-C cups. They get all the cute stuff!

  • I'm exactly your size and can empathize! I recently bought and have fallen in love  with the Shock Absorber sports bra. I can run, do tabata, lift weights, do Zumba, anything and everything and the girls stay put! Check it out online:

    Happy shopping!
  • I wear 2 sports bras. My favorite is to wear one and then wear a workout shirt that has one built in! Nothing gives me the proper support like 2 :D

    I usually just wear 2.

Moving Comfort, available at some sports shops and Amazon.com. LOVE them!
  • Oh my gosh, the tata tamer was such a HUGE disappointment!! I am a 36DD and get all my sports bras from athleta.com. I can't tell you the exact name off hand but search by cup size and you'll have some really great options. I find the reviews to be helpful, too. They are expensive but well worth it!

This is the Panache Full Busted Underwire bra:
    http://www.herroom.com/panache-5021-full-busted-underwire-sports-bra.shtml

This is the ONLY bra I've found that works for me... I'm quite a bit bigger than you- but not as big as others on the board. I've tried Freya, Anita (I have yet to find an Anita bra that fits and supports), Royce, and Shock Absorber. I usually wear it with a compression bra over it. I run 5ks and I've competed in the Irongirl tri wearing these... I've been doing that- wearing two bras since I started playing sports in high school.

I'm also a 34DD and I've found a couple by Champion that I really like and are pretty reasonably priced (around $35)

MovingComfort for sure. I have 2. One is the Fiona and I can't think of the other but they're both rated for high-impact exercises. Definitely will hold DD's in, I know from experience :) They are a little pricey but in my mind, if you're serious about your workouts, they're worth it.

I love the anita maximum control sports bra. I have flirted with a few others but always return to my true love!

SO MANY OPTIONS! i got some shopping to do
  • The only thing I've found that works is a roll of duct tape, wrapped around and around and around... Should last a good week or so. And at $5 a roll, the price is right.

It isn't necessarily a sports bra but I like the Natori Reflex Memory Foam t shirt bra, its comfy has wider straps, doesn't move around on you and fits really well under any kinda clothing. I am pretty busty and like that one better than a sports type bra. Wacoal is pretty comfy too.

The Champion 360 works well for me. The other ones I have tried are a joke. I have not tried wearing 2 at once (yikes!)...I get hot enough at the gym as it is. I thought I was the only one THOROUGHLY aggravated at the lack of options for those of us that are ...ahem..bigger. Really? Only girls that are A's and B's work out or run? Who knew? Hey! When I win the lotto, I will design some and open my own store!

I like the Under Armour ones with the zipper for size D.
  • I'm a huge fan of the Moving Comfort Juno. I could never find a bra that could hold my girls in (36D) but I have no movement in this one! I have like 10 of them. :)

The TaTa tamer didn't work for me either. I found it really uncomfortable.
I ordered one from zappos. Its called "moving comfort rebound racer" I LOVE it!

    Here it is

BraDoctor911 is what I like. But if it's laundry time, I have to wear 2 sports bras over my regular bra.

I'm all about the Moving Comfort Fiona - love this bra - but i think the Maia looks a teeeny bit more supportive for larger chests (I am a 36 D or DD) - i had a friend that loved these...

Also check out the Juno......this one looks excellent.....

i stick with Fiona b/c i know it works for running - and would knock myself out in absence of a bra ;)

From the moving comfort reviews " If you're busty and active, I'd give the Fiona a pass and get the Juno instead."

    Check out their website!

I'm the same size, and I love the Moving Comfort Maia bra. It hooks in the back (no struggling to get it over your head after a sweaty workout), and I use it for running and aerobics.

I'm a 42 DDD and I have an Enell Sports Bra. The girls just do not move in this thing. I has 11 hooks on the front and is super durable. I got mine from Title 9 and got the biggest size they had. It's kinda pricey but worth every penny.

I got some Danskin sports bras from.....Walmart for like $15 or so (Ohio). I got the biggest size I saw -- 42DD (I was just transitioning from a 42DDD to a 42DD at that point). And it gives enough support that I feel comfortable Zumba'ing and jogging with it. I don't remember the specific style name, but it hooks in the back like a regular bra and is like a sports bra in the front :)
  • I'm the same size and I stopped looking after I found this one (under armour -women's endure high-impact):

    http://www.underarmour.com/shop/us/en/womens-endure-d-cup/pcid1001175-100#bv-reviews

I could only find it in the outlet section of the website...bonus, it's less than $50! I'm not sure what will be available for you though. I love the criss-cross back and wide straps. They are really comfortable. The zipper front is awesome and makes it so much easier to get out of when sweaty!! I don't have any movement and feel really secure even when jogging.
    Happy shopping! :)
