Can this lady really do anything to me?

I was trying to pull out of the gym today from the parking lot, its quite hard to pull out from there -- some lady laid on the horn at me, so my friend in the passenger seat being the lovely lady she is flipped her off. The lady sped out behind me and passed me, screaming many profanities out her window as loud as he could - so I decided to be just as nice and flip her off.

As Im driving along, she is many cars ahead of me, beeping at other drivers and making a nusence of herself.
My friend and I contemplated getting something out to eat for lunch, and since we needed to turn around anyway, we jokingly followed the lady who had a red car ( I wasnt even sure if it was her, just thought at the time it was amusing to follow it ) so we could turn around, and be kind of annoying at the same time. Little did I know, the lady lived on that road, and got out of her car.

She took some kinda sumo stance and scoffed at me, watching my car drive by and making enraged faces.
I got REALLY adrenalized and panicked because, oh my god, I really did follow this lady to her house non the less. She must think Im a stalker!

Needless to say, we lost our appetite because we freaked ourselves out, and I took my friend home.
As I was going to leave, the lady comes flying up and blocks me from being able to exit the apartment complex. She had apparently gotten back in her car, and followed us in turn. She glared at me menacingly, and wrote down my license plate. She then proceeded to pull in, and follow me out before turning around and heading back home.

Im not so much concerned she's going to call the cops on me, or that the cops are really going to do anything about it. As it's my friend and I's testimony vs. hers -- Im more concerned about the fact that Im the only one with the certain model of baby *kitten* green car in the capital district, LOL. Especially that goes to that gym. It's a very small gym with a very small parking lot.

Im more concerned she's going to key my car or try to pick a fight with me. My friend quite literally want's to stop going to the gym ... but I just suggested we go at a different time to avoid her, hopefully.

What do you guys think? It's not that I dont think I didn't do anything wrong, but this woman is clearly off her meds.
I really dont want to run into her at the gym, again.

If nothing less, just take this as a rant.

If anything happens to your car, you know where she lives, just go return the favor.

Ironically enough I was able to take in that she lives across the street from a police officer, so Im good!! haha.

That's the thing though, I dont know how I could prove it was her.
Nobody else at the gym would have any intention to do it but her, but I would still need proof.

She seems like the type of lady whos kind of insane and wont let crap go. It's worrysome.

You and your friend flipped her off and then followed her and you're worried she's going to do something? Ummmm, if you and your friend planned on being so brave in the first place, you gotta be ready for her to fight back. I always say if you're going to be a hard-*kitten* and flip someone off, you better be ready in case they're nuts. Looked like you picked a winner here.

I think you pretty much scared the crap out of her (much more than she scared you), so it should be all good.

Oh, I did say that I knew I wasn't out of the wrong! I know I was being equally as dumb.
I was trying to turn around, and I did admittedly see the red car and laugh a bit - but it really did turn out to be her, I didnt mean to follow this woman home, haha

It's just that she didn't have to jump in her car and roadblock me.
I did pick a winner, though.

If you are really concerned, I would report the incident to the police and ask for a case file to remain open for a reasonable period. If anything happens to your car...you call them back, report it and let them do their jobs!

I did this once after a guy I broke up with threatened to burn my house down. They took it seriously and followed up with me several months later to ask if they could close the file....

Never engage in chin-battle if you are out numbered!!!

File a police report detailing her menacing, threatening behavior and detailing how she followed you home and appeared to record your license number. Explain how the whole incident in greater detail than you did here particularly highlighting the chain of events (suggesting that she has a retaliatory nature), etc. Then, if/when she does anything, there will be some backing that potentially will give you legal recourse. If that fails...a brick in the window always works.

let it go...she sounds like a really unhappy whacko. not worth the space in your head or ruining your work out shedule. If she ever comes up to you in the gym, just tell her you were following her because she seemed so erratic and upset , and was driving so haphazardly, you thought she might be ill and you just wanted to make sure she got home safely...LOL

Ahahahaha! Its 6 to 2, I dont have a chance!!

Unfortunately I dont have any of her personal information.
Id have to apparently engage in a unnecessary road block for that.

Just sounds like a simple case of road rage. Happens all the time here in Cali. Don't worry about it. Nobody pulled any weapons or actually destroyed anything. Chances are she is just a stressed lady and is all bark and no bite.

Hopefully so! I was going to the gym around 1:30pm when nobody is here!
If I go back to 4pm just to avoid her, all the machines are taken :(

I would have gotten out and taken HER license plate at the same time she took mine.

But since nobody did anything wrong or illegal, I wouldn't let it worry you. :)

LOL! Well, take it as lesson learned. People are nuts these days. That's why I don't have road rage or flip people off anymore. I learned my lesson a few years back. I always tell my daughters the same thing, DON'T flip anyone off or tick them off. Of course my one daughter didn't listen and called me frantically at midnight that some guy was following her and flashing his lights at her. I asked her what happened and she said he was tailgating and she flipped him off. I told her to drive to the house and I'd be waiting outside. The guy ended up going straight when she turned off onto our road. Just be careful out there and shrug things off. :)

Find out if the gym has security cameras in the parking lot. Park where you'll be recorded.

If she's anything like me, she'll be horribly pissed off and want to kill you for all of 10 minutes, then piss and moan and do absolutely nothing about it. You should be fine. ;)

    Good!
I was a little worried Id be chatting with an officer about stalking this woman home, or something stupid like that.
I wouldn't have been worried if she hadn't taken it to the next level and follow me and roadblocked me -- but I just don't care anymore because the matter is so unnecessary and petty.

I just dont want her to touch my damn car.
She might be all bark and no bite to me in person face to face, but when my car is sitting alone in the parking lot people can be ballsy.

Maybe im just over thinking it!

Ill probably just do what the other poster said and ask if the parking lot has cameras.

Is going to turn in your favor LOL you fuked up babydoll good LUCK!

Lol thats my snappy response, honestly id workout as much as i could to know i COULD take her if need be :) pick **** up and put it down!
