I only burn around 200 calories on Level 1 (as per my HRM) but it will depend on your height, weight and how much effort you put in! But that is a good ballpark figure.

You can put it in as circuit training and MFP give it's own calculations which I found out for me were way high before I got my HRM but I know people who get a bigger burn then me with their HRM's.

Or you could log it as "Circuit Training, General."

ETA: Once I got my HRM the number of calorie dropped significantly. 27 minutes of Circuit Training General was just under 300. 30DS via HRM for 27 minutes was right about 200.

Unless the person wearing the HRM is actually you, there's no way of knowing accurately what the burn is. Even a ballpark figure is gonna be off.
  • Depends on my intensity, but I average around 200 cals.
  • I would get a HRM....I was guesstimating too and the only way to be sort of accurate is with a HRM.

Age 64, 5'6", 126 lbs. I have exercised 5-7 days/week for years. I wear a heart rate monitor and burn 150-175 calories. It sure feels like it should be more than that. LOL!
