My Fellow Americans: As you all know, the defeat of the Iraq regime has been completed.
Since congress does not want to spend any more money on this war, our mission in Iraq is complete.
This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American forces from Iraq. This action will be complete within 30 days. It is now time to begin the reckoning.
Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries which have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list is short. The United Kingdom, Spain, Bulgaria, Australia, and Poland are some of the countries listed there.
The other list contains every one not on the first list. Most of the world's nations are on that list. My press secretary will be distributing copies of both lists later this evening.
Let me start by saying that effective immediately, foreign aid to those nations on List 2 ceases immediately and indefinitely. The money saved during the first year alone will pretty much pay for the costs of the Iraqi war. THEN EVERY YEAR THERE AFTER It’ll GO TO OUR SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM SO IT WONT GO BROKE IN 20 YEARS.
The American people are no longer going to pour money into third world holes and watch those government leaders grow fat on corruption.
Need help with a famine? Wrestling with an epidemic? Call France.
In the future, together with Congress, I will work to redirect this money toward solving the vexing social problems we still have at home. On that note, a word to terrorist organizations. Screw with us and we will hunt you down and eliminate you and all your friends from the face of the earth.

I have instructed the Mayor of New York City to begin towing the many UN diplomatic vehicles located in Manhattan with more than two unpaid parking tickets to sites where those vehicles will be stripped, shredded and crushed. I don't care about whatever treaty pertains to this. You people have tens of thousands of unpaid tickets. Pay those tickets tomorrow or watch you’re precious Benzes, Beamers and limos be turned over to some of the finest chop shops in the world. I love New York!
A special note to our neighbors. Canada is on List 2. Since we are likely to be seeing a lot more of each other, you folks might want to try not making us mad for a change.
Mexico is also on List 2. Its president and his entire corrupt government really need an attitude adjustment. I will have a couple extra thousand tanks and infantry divisions sitting around. Guess where I am going to put ’em? Yep, border security.

I am sure to step on some toes, however, add to the list.
If you can't speak, read and write English (clearly) either learn how on your dime or go back to the country of your native language. If you don't like the word god or anything to do with "our' god, too bad. Too all Senators and congressmen, effective immediately, you have a pay cut and the presidency will now be a no pay position. If you have all this money to run, you have plenty of money to live for four years. Hey, we are giving you a free house, free cars, free security, etc, what else do you need money for.

As a student of developmental politics, I assure you the US rarely gets involved with "third world holes" for purely charitable reasons, and often interferes to serve its own ends. The neo-liberal economic policies forced upon some regions by Washington are usually exploitative and have led to inequality and poverty in many regions. While I agree with many of your points, I find your words harsh coming from a country that is so zealously religious.0

I just wanted to add a clause that immediately and forever makes any type of lobbying illegal! Also can we add an amendment that makes it illegal for government to overturn a proposition (at any level) that passes by a majority vote! WHO says we are too dumb to make decisions on laws?0

You didn't step on any toes and I apprecaite the humour in your post, and actually think it raises a fair few valid points! However the majority of Americans I've encountered in my Uni career have been scarily nationalistic, close minded and would agree whole heartidly (did I spell that right?) with some scary statements, so you can see why I was wary. Having lived in a developing country for a few years, I've seen the devasation these opinions can bring about. (Didn't mean to get so heavy!)

Explain please, I don't believe our government is "pure as the driven snow" mind you, yes, we have alterior motives sometimes, I even understand why, but in almost every case I can think of, it's not some secret goverment conspiricy to take over the world, it's either economic in nature ( contrary to popular belief, it IS our governments job to secure our intrests not only from physical attack, but other types too, including fiscal).
Don't get me wrong, I'm not really disagreeing too greatly, parts of our government is probably as corrupt as the next, but to blanket statment is wrong too. Some times we have done exactly what you say, others were for the best possible reasons, I'd say overall, we have done as much, or more good as we have bad in the world. And for all the good will it has generated, I'm willing to pull back from everything and let everyone else work it out. Let's see how fast Mexico and China grow without the US to buy all it's stuff!

In regards to your dismissal of my zealously religious comment; while it is impossible to generalise about a nation as huge as the US, I am merely going by the facts and figures presented by various WD reports and my experiences of the 300 or so US students I have met during my studies. Concerning religious fundamentalism, they have nearly all commented on the culture shock of moving to the UK. While I have never believed that you "all walk around with bibles", by percentage, the US is one of the most religious nations in the world and religion plays a frightenly large role in politcs, education etc. For example, the US pulled out of helping to fund a second Cairo conference on reproductive health, purely on a religious basis (it refused to condon allowing safe abortions).
I'm not entirely sure I understand what you're trying to say in your post, so I don't really know what to say. I've never seen the US government as trying to take over the world or anything along those lines. However, we only have to look at the massive 1980s Debt Crisis that destroyed the Latin American economy to find an example of US interfering to the detriment of developing countries. Mexico had its highest ever growth rates when the US wasn't there to buy its stuff, due to their Import Substitution Industrialisation policies allowing them to develop their primary industries, rather than just exporting commodities with declining terms of trade. I don't know if you have the same problem in America, but we have a lot of people who receive benefits because they don't have jobs, yet they turn down jobs because they think that they're below them or don't like the type of job. It angers me so much that hard working people fork out for lazy people who want everything handed to them on a plate!! Ok - rant over- :laugh:0 -

I have to admitt it is hard to have an opinion anymore b/c my only information comes from the media and I have learned in the last five years that the media also has their on agenda. It is hard for this midwestern boy to understand the going ons in the world. All I do is hope that America is doing the right thing.
I take everything the media says with a grain of salt. Both sides, the NPR's of the world along with the Rush Limbaughs too. I also like to look on my own too. I find that I tend to lean more conservative, but that doesn't mean I disapprove of abortion...etc things like that. I wish we could permanently abolish political parties! That might force some changes!0 -
I want to say it so bad........ Ok since the lobbyists are out, healthcare is cheaper, we'll make it available for everyone. It will cost you 10 percent of your income ( and yes senators and millionairs have to pay too, you can also pay extra and get upgradet) but it will save a lot since we will be able to catch problems when they start and not in the end stages. We will also develope solar and wind energie... if europe can do it why not we?
Just a little remark on the side Germany was vorbidden(after 2nd world war) to fight in a country that did not attac or threaten them unless it was sanktioned by the Nato.
By the way Fatsis I agree with you , in Gernany prostiution is legalised ( they even have their own union) and the rates for rape are a lot lower then over here.0 -

It is hard for this midwestern boy to understand the going ons in the world. All I do is hope that America is doing the right thing.
I take everything the media says with a grain of salt. Both sides, the NPR's of the world along with the Rush Limbaughs too. I also like to look on my own too. I find that I tend to lean more conservative, but that doesn't mean I disapprove of abortion...etc things like that. I wish we could permanently abolish political parties! That might force some changes!
Indeed, it's frightening how distorted your opinions can be when manipulated by the media. And the political parties in the UK are all the same now; they just tell the public what they want to hear.0 -
