    I always thought apple shaped meant wider shoulders/top heavy and smaller hips. Now I'm confuseddd.

    It usually consists of just being a bit bigger in the mid-body region. Wider waist/less definition, belly tends to be larger/protudes, broad shoulders are sometimes present.
