Newbie!!

Hey Guys, my name is Tahnee and this is my second attempt at MFP. About 2 years ago I joined MFP but never took the public route, I kept everything to myself and only used the App to count my calories. This worked for a while but after about 4 months I fell off the horse, so to speak. Here I am 2 years later trying to get back on that horse, this time with the help of others.
Now many people will tell me that I don't need to lose weight and that I'm small as it is, and yes I am not large and I am quite athletic but I have a goal that I have not yet reached.
I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) which many many women have, and as a result I have a very much apple shaped body. I have very tiny legs and quite small arms but I carry weight around my middle. This is what bothers me most, 1. because i often muffin top when wearing jeans or other tightish pants and 2. weight held around this area increases risk of cardiovascular and heart disease.
I currently weigh 50kg and I am approximately 160cm tall. My goal isn't necessarily to lose weight although 1-2kgs would be good. Mostly I want to just tone my body and work on decreasing the weight held around my middle.
I'm a PDHPE teacher so I have found that I'm really quite good in motivating others and helping others reach their goals yet I can't do the same for myself. Please feel free to add me as a friend and lets get healthy bodies together!

I did that exact same thing!!!!! I have been back on for a little over a month and feeling very positively about really sticking with it.

I'm new as well, I tried it once before but no success. I wasn't really motivated at the time. I am hoping this time I can do this!!!0
