Now this was an entertaining read this morning!0

"Eh, you don't need to worry to much. Just eat plenty of the right stuff and exercise. Drink water, don't booze too much. Ya know..."
I hate to say this ,,, but I think he is RIGHT !! that is exactly what I am doing ,, and I have lost 16 lb this year
OR were you joking and I had a sense of humour failure ?
Option B... SOH failure...
But congrats on the 16 lbs!!!0 -
You totally need to buy him a shakeweight.
Hey, how did you get that video of me?
LOL
Hey, I can clearly see her muscles working... I keep watching so I can emulate it....0 -
He also sounds the sort that will tell people that they shouldn't exercise for hours a day and then only eat 1200 calories. Like how are you supposed to lose weight if you don't do that !!!!

Charlatanism I tell you!!
We have no need for the universal solvent.....0 -
I was sitting in my office today when two guys walked past, they were talking about the gym and such.
One of them said this, basically verbatim, to the other
"Eh, you don't need to worry to much. Just eat plenty of the right stuff and exercise. Drink water, don't booze too much. Ya know..."
I mean SERIOUSLY. How DARE he perpetrate this cr*p! you have to follow a diet with a NAME! And it has to restrict or completely eliminate at least three food groups! Some people are so uneducated!
And 'drink water'? Ha! Obviously he never heard of water weight? Why would I want to drink something that has 'weight' next to its name? I never heard of 'diet coke weight'!
At least all the ladies I work with know the deal. They're all on weight watchers, or Atkins, or a juice fast. We might have to call this idiot guy back to move some boxes of paper for us. Don't want to pick them up and get bulky.
You are using sarcasm right...I hope...or at least exploring the fine art of trolling?
No. This entire thread is completely devoid of sarcasm.
What even is sarcasm? Will it make me skinny??
No, but it will make you cool and gain you lots of freinds.
This entire post has made my day. Ha Ha Ha. Hey you think if I laugh too hard I'll get bulky?0 -
You mean that Gillian bird with the weird nose isn't the Messiah?
And she hasn't lovingly proffered her divine wisdom to us heathens in a ten DVD bundle with a ton of other gear, all available for mere hundreds? She might actually be in it for the money?

The Universe has just imploded.

How could you forget about slim fast and the cookie diet?!0

Sigh, another man hating thread............ We're not all like that you know. Take me for example, I'm on the famouse Seefood diet, I see food, I eat it, I avoid any food group with 'vegetarian' in the name, and drink water only in limited quantities in whisky. Oh and I have my own inbuilt shakeweight. When I get the urge to excercise I go an lie in a darkened room till the urge passes, or concentrate on shakeweight excercises which only take about 30 seconds...............
I hope you told those irresponsible guys off in no uncertain terms.
You are my new favorite, secret crush. May I MFP stalk you?0 -
SNAKE OIL no seriously how do I log it?0
-
I once went on the all alcohol diet and dropped 30 pounds. I mean, I slipped a few times and ate food so it coulda been a bigger loss but it still worked.0
-
PMSL!  :laugh:0
-
Wait. Diet Coke is NOT good for you???0

I agree whole heartedly OP.
Frankly if you're not doing something with a cool name like Paleo or Intermittent Fasting and not doing a certified strength routine, followed by a regularly planned vodka and grapefruit juice fast, you're pretty much an amateur.
Anyways, I hope you set them straight.

A moment on the lips....forever on the hips....
So eat anything and as much as you want so long as it doesn't touch your lips... You are good to go!0 -
Obviously this guy has no idea that unless Dr. Oz puts his stamp of approval on it, NO diet will work EVER.0

Hearing the comments those guys made makes me ashamed to be a fellow male. Don't listen to them.
All you need is the right supplements.
... and the right equipment.

I just lost 5 pounds reading this thread! But may have been that I had a green tea and artichoke smoothie while using a shake a weight.
Personally, I can not believe they would give advise like they did. Obviously they do not know the magic of professionally designed weight loss products!0 -
