Striving to lose weight after having a baby is hard work. I could not workout while pregnant. Pre-pregnancy I was very avid fitness freak. Any others out there on the same journey?

I am sort of! My baby is 15 months old. When i was pregnant i had a subchorionic hemorrhage. Which took me off work for 4 weeks, and then i was on light duty for about a month, and this mid-first trimester, into 2nd trimester. That made me gain 10 lbs in 3 weeks. : ( i continued to work as a cna, all the way up to the end, but was always very cautious, and exercised very little. I breastfed but the weight stuck like glue! : ( but im 12 lbs down since january! Finally shedding that baby weight! Slowly, (about 1-2lbs) a week, but im getting there!0

i gained 50 lbs during mine. i kinda did the im eating for 2 and ate what i wanted, now im kickin myself. i had braycelee in 2011 and im tired of bein overweight. Somedays im all about losing weight and really try to do a workout or 2 like the other day i did zumba, another 25min workout and yoga. today i keep tellin myself i should go for a walk cuz today is the first day in awhile that its actually nice outside here in oklahoma but of course im on here. Im in the 170s now and my goal is the 120s, but when i feel like my body is lookin good or im satisfied then ill stop lookin at the number on the scale. i was in the 120s when i found out i was pregnant and i have a feeling that i wont be that small again if im goin the way i am now.0

I gained 30 pounds during my wife's pregnancy! Got 10 of them off so far, now working on getting the rest plus the 15 or so I was overweight with already. It's not easy, but now that she's able to work out it definitely helps.0

its tough right, especially as we get older.
Unfortunately I had marginal placenta previa, low iron,& gestational diabetes. It was my worst nightmare to get diabetes, however I did learn a lot about diet and nutrition. So this app has been helpful. My son is 6 months old now.
Now I do zumba, lift,step and athletic.training. I love working out just had to get my diet back on track... whew! Keep at it EVERYONE!0
