Is HRM with NO Chest Strap made?

Do they make a Heart Rate Monitor WITHOUT a chest strap? I always forget my chest strap at home.

    Yes. Finis makes one that clips to the ear lobe and a head band goggle strap.
    I tried it but it died after just 2.5 swims.

    Go to amazon, they have a bunch of them.. Mine overestimates the calories but the heart rate is fine.
    got it for 37 dollars .. .I think its a polar.. It has heart rate and calories it has a nice backlight.. You have to push in the
    button do get heart rate.. I check it against the machines and it comes up the same... Those machines overestimate.
