I weigh myself every day, but I only track Monday's weight. However, my weight has been so stagnant the last month, that I will confess to not recording one or two Mondays, because it was too disheartening.

I check my weight every Saturday at the gym after my workout and before I jump in the shower. In my head the towels at the gym weigh less than my t-shirt and workout shorts lol. I will always go at least one day on the weekend, so I will sub Sunday if I missed Saturday. I try very hard not to check it any other time during the week, because I seem to lose weight a lot slower than I would like and it just gets discouraging for me.

PS - I will admit that the one week I had a gain, I checked again the next day and it was down so I used that :)

I don't record until I lose. I find it discouraging otherwise. If my last weigh-in is, say, 136lbs, and I hover it around it, I won't record until I am 135lbs. I don't care if it takes a month... and sometimes it does.

    Me too! :)

I record when I see a loss. I usually wait until I have seen that number a second time. I don't record gain's, but if I am higher it's just a little bit and goes back down in a day or two. If I did have a true gain, I would book it, but hasn't happened yet :)
  • I weigh myself everyday, but only record it when there is a change (negative or positive).

i only record it when it goes down. Maybe thats cheating but if the number goes up i just work harder.

I weigh everyday. My record day is on Wednesdays because that is the day I officially started MFP. Weighing everyday helps me see if I am doing the right things. If I weigh 2lbs less on Wednesday then I did on Monday/Tuesday I know it is probably water loss so I record my Tuesday weight instead. This way I don't get disappointed on Thursday when I step on the scale and it appears I have gained 2lbs. I also think I get a more accurate representation of "Fat" loss this way.

So far I have always been able to record a loss so we will see what happens when I hit a plateau which is bound to come sooner or later.

Sunday mornings on an empty stomach. I weigh myself three times just to triple-check the number. Whatever the number is, I plug it in. If I gained something, I'd write it on my wall to let my friends know, since MFP won't update them. I also have a chart that says how much I gained/lost for that week, how many calories I burned from exercise and how many calories under/over my weekly goal I was.

I weigh myself everyday but I record when I see a loss that is consistent for a few days. Major measurement and weight recordings are done monthly though.

Around Wednesday on here. I have an app on my phone where I record it daily to see the trend on the graph so I don't bother MFP friends with my daily weights.

I record it the FIRST time I see that new number on the scale... then I don't record again until I see another new number. I don't worry about the fluctuations, I know they're going to happen. I just record the first time I see the number and ignore the scale when it bounces back up a pound or two. The only time I record a gain is if it's an actual gain of weight due to falling off the wagon!

Wednesday is my weigh-in day. I also record my measurements once a month on the first Wednesday of the month.

Typically Monday morning. If it's a new low, I usually don't count it unless it's been at least 2-3 days because of normal fluctuations.

I track each week - up or down - so I can see how it relates to how I ate/exercised (or didn't) that week.

i check my weight and record my weight every 4 weeks (so every month pretty much)
that way i can see the progress and feel good about myself and not think that i am not losing any pounds.

I try to weigh in on wednesday mornings as soon as I get up cuz its midway thru the week. But on wks where I'm out of town on the wk-end or something and not sure how much I burned by just movement instead of regular excercise then I will weigh in after that just to see where i'm at.

I only record my weight when it goes to a new low. Most of the time my weight goes up/down/up/down .... and it's too depressing to record all that.

I always get excited when I see new numbers on the scale, but I never record that day. I always weigh myself in the morning so it's somewhat consistent and before breakfast so it's usually a bit lower, which is a nice ego boost :P

I record my weight change as down by 1 pound if I've been lower than my current weight for at least 3 days, sometimes more if I know I'm going to be eating a lot during a weekend. I usually do just 1 pound a week because my weight can fluctuate so much each day. It's also nice because if I lose more then only record 1 pound, I can go back up without feeling like I gained. Mostly, it's just to record overall progress.

Like now I'm recording I'm at 194, but I've been between 191 and 193 at various times since I last recorded the weight, and assuming I'm lower 193 the next time I record [March 8th] I'll be set.

Wednesday morning after I wake up. Same scale, same time, keep everything as close as possible to stay consistent and see most accurate results.

This! but friday mornings for me

Personally, I understand the fluctuations in weight and don't allow it to get me down... so I like to weigh myself every morning, first thing. However, I usually only log my weight on the site once a week, usually on Fridays. Even if it goes up, I think you get a more accurate tracking of your weight if you're consistent.
