Does anyone have suggestions for easily portable healthy food lunches?

I'm looking for something more substantial than just "almonds" or "yogurt".

    I was pretty fond of left-overs from dinner the night before.
    Sandwiches (of course).
    Apple and peanut butter (for dipping the apple into).

    ive been eating alot of canned chicken breast for when im on the go, Not exactly delicious but it gets the job done with a lil hot sauce

    I love burritos! You can change it up from chicken salad to tuna to veggie.

    Pouches of tuna, unsalted pistachios, string cheese...
  • I appreciate the responses but a lot of them (not all) seem a lot more like snack food and I'm looking for something more meal based. I'm the type of person that feels famished if I don't eat something substantial.

    I'm going to do a chicken stir fry for the week, but I as looking for a few other ideas too.
