I used to weigh myself monthly but since I have been trying different things I have been weighing in weekly. As soon as I know this new thing is working I will go back to monthly or possibly bi weekly. I try not to focus on weigh as much as inches lost0

The morning after a large dinner. Naked.0

I usually weigh myself every 10-12 days, now that I am in lower numbers. It is nicer to see some movement for me, rather than just .3 or .4 oz...I want to see the big digits go down!0

Honestly? Usually when I wake up to go to work... but Ive convinced myself it only really counts on weigh in days when I actually record it.
Same here!!!  :laugh:0 -
I used to weigh every morning but now tend to do it on the days after I don't do weights. The weight lifting tends to make me have water weight the next day.0

I weigh myself every morning. No, I don't do this to depress myself but to make myself aware of what eating/ exercise choices I made the day before and how it affected my weight the next morning.0

I weigh myself everyday. I try to cut back to every other day, but when I'm losing, I like to see every ounce come off.0

I usually weigh once a week, when I jump on the scale mid week or more than once, and see a decrease and then my official weigh-in there is a increase, was too much of a disappointment, so I TRY to stick to once a week.
I usually weigh in on Monday mornings, however, have since decided to change it to Saturday mornings
Everyone has to do what works for them0 -
I weigh every morning, but only count it once or twice a week.0

Most mornings before I get in the shower and again after I get out.
Interesting tidbit: I always weigh less and my BF% is lower after I get out. No idea why.0 -
Everyday. Usually twice. I don't panic if I see a change in the wrong direction. It is just my way of making me be accountable for my diet everyday.0
-
Daily in am. Keeps me under control. But record q week.0

Every Tuesday morning (:
I'm with her! I started my weight loss journey on a Tuesday so that's why it's Tuesday. I am down to weighing only once a week. This morning was my first time to weigh in and I was so nervous. lol0 -
Once in the morning and record it once a week. It helps me to be mindful about my weight.0

I weigh myself every day. There are fluctuations (+/- 1 lb) every day but it keeps me on track so I know my progress. I record it almost every day so I can see the trend.0

Every Friday morning!0

At least every Sunday morning, right after I get out of bed. Sunday's also usually my "cheat" day, where I don't exercise or watch what I eat. When I weigh myself on Sunday mornings it lets me know how much of a "cheat day" I've earned. I agree with MFP that weighing yourself daily can be a waste of time, since your body retains different amounts of water on up to a daily basis depending on your diet and exercise.0

I weigh myself every single morning. I know it may seem a little obsessive, but it gets my day off to the right foot. It lets me know if I'm doing good, or if that donut i snuck last night that put me over my 400 calories was really worth it. I like to see the scare go up and down, even by just a few ounces to see how I'm doing.0

My official weigh in is at my Weight Watcher meeting on Thursday morning... but I have tendency to "check in" on my home scale on Monday & Wednesday, just to see how I'm doing.
It's only been in the last year or so that I've been able to get on the scale to check and not have it ruin my day. For years, if I was up I would think I had blown it and overeat during the day. Or if my weight was down, I felt I could celebrate and eat more. That explains a lot about why it took me so long to lose weight.... :laugh:0 -

same here, I like to have an idea of where I'm at but only count it once a week0 -
I haven't weighed myself in about and month and a half (last doctors appt). I started this website about 3 weeks ago and the last time I weighed myself I was fluctuating between 136-138 lbs. I finally weighed myself today on the Wii Fit, and I weigh 127 lbs !0

Aim for once every two weeks as the surprise of weight loss is the best when it's like 4+ lbs in one shot!!
All I could think when I read this was---or 4lbs of gain! This is why I weigh so often; I would hate to not know I was gaining (or not losing) and be able to self-correct. But I'm glad that weighing less often works for a lot of other people
Believe me that's just what I aim for. Will sometimes still hop the scale after having a bad day, or just feeling apprehensive about what I ate in the previous day, etc... When I do make it through 2 weeks without a weigh-in it's always a bit scary getting on and seeing the results!!0 -
I try to do it once a week on a Sunday but occasionally I will step on the scale in between if I get really curious. Sometimes that's a good thing, others not so much.0

I'm obsessed with weighing myself. I don't skip a day. Every morning, I get on the scale and log my weight.0
-
every day after a shower. I record it daily too - gains or losses. I'm well aware that eating my regular caloric intake is not going to make me gain 4# over night, so most likely I haven't drank enough water the day before or ate something high in sodium. I've learned a lot from my daily weigh-ins0
-
I weigh myself a lot lol I only record it once or twice a week0
-
daily, obsessed I guess...probably 2 to 5 times a day..lol...
It's right next to the bed, so I just jump on every time I am upstairs.
I don't record it either. I am where I am supposed to be, so I just "check in".0 -
2x per month about the middle and end of the month. I'm trying to lose .5-1 lb. per week so I don't see any point in checking more often.0
