Yes I was 223lb after having my second child Feb 2012, after dropping lbs a month after birth (197lbs), I reached 172lbs in two months (July/Aug 2012) of working out:
Started again Jan 1st at 181lbs, photo on right side (Day 55/Feb 24) I weighed 169lbs
It can be done!0 -
I'm 5'6" and started at 217. Currently at about 172 with about 25 more pounds to lose. Add me if you like!0

I am 5'6" but started off at 245lbs (on MFP) and currently hover around 160.0

I need to see that it can be done, I feel so huge!
I was 5'8" and 214 pounds. I made it down to the mid 150's and stayed there for 18 months or so, before getting pregnant. Now I am losing it again after delivering my daughter on Feb 21. It is possible! I also ran a half marathon last year, after barely being able to job 60 seconds when I started losing weight.0 -
My highest weight was about 218 lbs ...
I got down to 158 lbs in 2003 and was at my goal weight.
When I was pregnant in 2005/06 I put on 70 lbs and only 35 came back off again... I ended up starting last January at 194 lbs.
Current weight 155 lbs, which I have been sort of hovering around since September 2012... reducing BF%...
... more in my profile if you care to look...
You can do this. Just take small, sustainable steps.
I LOVE YOUR LEGS!0 -

I'm 5' 6" and started at the beginning of November 2012 at around 225. I'm at 197 now.
One bit of advice I'll give is whenever you go out to eat, check for menus online and plan what you're going to order. My husband and I went to Red Robin the other day and he changed the burger he ordered on a whim, and the one he got was 300 calories more than the one he usually gets. It makes it less stressful if you can walk into a place knowing what fits your plan for the day.0 -
I am 5'7" and started at 257...lost 80 pounds after highschool and then again after my son. Am working on the last 20 from my daughter. My goal is 160-165. I am 184 right now.0

I'm 5'5 and heavier than 220. I've done this before but did not maintain, this time will be different. Reading through here seeing the ladies already at the maintenance phase of their journey is an inspiration. Anyone can feel free to add me, I'm always up for inspirational friends.0

Hi ... I'm 5' 6-1/2" and started out at 221 lbs two years ago. Am currently 185.7 lbs. and would like to get down to about 160 or so. The first year, I lost about 25 lbs. and then gained and lost over and over the second year. So far this year, I've lost about another 10 lbs. and am determined to not let other things be more important than my health, my weight, and exercising. Try to walk or ride my stationary bike every day and do a few minutes of light weighs and stretching every day. I'm 67 years old and am finally learning that I need to control food, not have it control me. The thing is to never give up. If you fall down, pick yourself up and keep going!0

I started at 207. I'm not done yet, but losing can definitely be done!0

I think the lowest I have been as a post-two-children adult was 170 pounds and I got there by going to the gym several times a week but didn't really change my eating habits at all. My husband and I joined MFP just a couple of months ago and I have already lost around 15 pounds so far. I have done this by (1) counting calories and, in general, eating better/making better food choices, (2) walking a couple of miles a day (during my breaks at work so I'm not actually sacrificing my time in the evenings) and (3) doing (well started) the 30day shred program (I had to drop out temporarily due to an un-related knee injury) and I'm also trying to drink more water. As you can see from my ticker I still have a loooong way to go!!!!! I would love to have any of you ladies as a MFP friend since we all seem to have similar weight struggles and goals.0

I'm 5'7" and started on 01/25/2013 at 224 lbs. I've lost 10 lbs in almost 7 weeks. It hasn't been coming off steadily - 6 lbs lost in the first 2 weeks and then nothing for 3 weeks and another 4 lbs in the past 2 weeks. Still working on figuring out what works for me.0
