Good Problem to Have...

My pants are getting uncomfortably large on me lately. On one hand it's a royal pain in the butt to have to sinch the belt so much that the top of my pants bunches up in the front.... on the other hand.... they're TOO BIG!! yay!!! haha....

i've not gotten brave enough to go to a store and try the next size down yet.... but maybe in a couple weeks once i've totally lost the ability to camoflauge all the bunched up material from my pants under my shirts, lol.

It is a great problem to have!! Good for you, treat yourself to a new pair!!
  • If it's bunching up that much the next size down probably won't work.... You'll probably have to go two!

    Great job!

im so apprehensive to try on a new pair, lol. i don't know why. the pants i wear now are higher on top, but they could never fit over my belly before. Then they fit over my belly, which helps hold it in a little bit and smooths it out. Now they are starting to bunch up top even though they are over my belly. I think i'm afraid of wearing a pair of pants that doesn't cover my stomach because it's a smaller size. i want to buy new ones once i can wear them on my hips where they belong, lol.

does anyone else have this issue??

Go to the Goodwill and fork over $5 for a new pair of pants in your correct size...you won't be wearing them long and it won't be a big investment. You need to release the 'fear' of stepping out of your comfort zone and embrace the new and healthier you that you've worked so hard for. Do it, and report back.

Yes! This exactly! Find a Goodwill or a thrift store and go for it :)

I am having the same problem, but do not want to spend a lot of money on new store clothes, as i have several pant sizes to go down through, so i just ordered some new ones off ebay, and will do the same every time i go down a size, a lot cheeper way of doing it for me, and still have the satisfation of going down a size.

Make sure you buy jeans that fit on the natural waist

I always wear a tank top or camisole tucked in under my shirt  so that if I raise my arms my stomach won't show if I'm wearing the jeans that sit on the hips.

Congratulations! I'm still at the point where all my pants fit properly now instead of suffocating me! lol

thanks for all the feedback!

I currently am not quiiiiite sure where my natural waist is haha. i still have a spare tire around the middle. but my big jeans fit over them in a way that i at least have a smooth look, no gut, even though i still have a gut. I'm afraid of wearing jeans that actually "fit" and don't support me tucking my belly into them, so then my belly hangs down, looking like i've

    a) gained it all back, or
    b) been wearing a body slimmer for months.

i've got it in my head i have to wear these pants over my belly until i no longer have a belly. i finally got rid of that "roll" look over the top of my pants, i'm petrified to go back to it. :frown:

    Same here lady!

I bought 3 large belts about 2 months ago.

Since January, I'm on the tightest notch of my belt and my jeans are getting all loose and crunched up around the waist. I haven't even got a chance to wear the other 2 belts yet, and they're going to be too big soon!

    It's a problem I'm okay with. ;)
