I respectfully submit that not being able to moderate your chocolate consumption is what brought you to the site. Not the chocolate itself.0 -

Oh, memories of finishing a big tub of double chocolate icecream and bags of chocolate chip cookies, 8 chocolate bars in one evening... I should be as skinny as a pole by now!0

Chocolate is not the problem. The problem is that it taste great with SUGAR.
I have a milk frothier and froth some hot skim milk and add a TBS or so of unsweetened organic coco. Almost fat free low calorie hot chocolate. But without the sugar, not the same. Of couse, I can add a small amount, much less than in commercially produced hot chocolate.
The point is though -- most people love chocolate+sugar combination, not the chocolate itself.0 -
Nope... nope... I'm not gonna start eating chocolate on any kind of often just to lose weight. You can't make me.

I'll say "Thank you!!!" now. I've been having a mug of cocoa EVERY single night since I started:
Hershey's Cocoa, natural unsweetened 2T.
1 t. sugar
! C. skim milk
I am one of those people MFP decided needed 1200 cals. Even in addition to going over a bit almost every day,
I would never give up my cocoa in the evening--no,no,no,not happening...........and I'm losing weight.....almost half
way to goal. Also, it gives me a treat I love to look forward to each evening.0 -

Well, my husband has some "splaining" to do. He has an absolute love affair going on with Lindt 90%. Eats a square or three daily and considers it a grocery "staple".0
