I got my bulking advice from this site which seemed to work. However the cutting (Dieting) advice they give to lose after bulking seems VERY extreme. Thoughts? Is this really the way to go? They said to work down to eating 10 calories per 1lbs of lean body mass. I am 114.8lbs lean body mass (148lbs in total) so that means I have to work down to eating 1,148 calories a day?! But I've been eating 2200-2600 calories for two months. Wow.

I posted this in Fitness/Exercise because I figured people who do bulking/cutting lurk around here more :)

Interesting. I don't know enough about the topic as others, but I think it is written for men and I would not go below 1200 cals based upon the LBM equation. The good news is that you are going to ease into the calorie reduction and can always stay at 1600 or 1500 or 1400 if a particular level is working for you.

The date on that article is 2001. A lot has happened with training and nutrition in the last 11 years.
